On April 27th, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the East China Normal University and France Esterel Technology Co., Ltd. jointly established "Model-Driven Development Joint Laboratory of Rail Transit Industry" was held in the Campus of ECNU.
ECNU vice-president prof. Rongming Wang, School Dean prof. Jifeng He, Mr. Jinsuo Ma and Mr. Ping Jiang from Esterel Technology attended the event.
Prof. Jifeng HE, Academician of the CAS, gave a welcome speech on behalf of ECNU, introducing the background of the join laboratory and expressed his warm congratulations and expectation on the establishment of the joint laboratory. He pointed out that the establishment was a good platform for the implementation of the cooperation between industry, university and research institutes. The construction of the "Model-Driven Development Joint Laboratory for Rail Transit Industry" was based on the further cooperation between the two sides, and this cooperation truly promotes the development of the rail industry and Shanghai's economic development.
Vice President Wang and Ma signed the “SCADE University Cooperation Agreement for High Security System Development Environment” and jointly unveiled the joint laboratory.
During the ceremony, Vice President Ma gave a brief introduction on the overview and cooperation goals of France Esterel Technology.
ECNU Vice President Rongming Wang warmly congratulated on the joint establishment of the “Model-Driven Development Joint Laboratory for Rail Transit Industry” and stressed that the university attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with industry enterprises, especially with the professional laboratories. The School of Computer Science and Software Engineering at ECNU was one of the first 35 demonstration software colleges in China, and has achieved greatly through the years. This joint laboratory would promote the development of the rail industry and make important contributions to the development of high-security software and safety guarantees in the railroad industry in Shanghai.
