The A3 forward-looking plan "Next Generation of Internet and Network Security" Mini-Workshop , jointly sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and the Korea National Research Foundation, was successfully held in Naha, Japan from February 17th to February 20th, 2016.
Prof. Zhenfu Cao, as the head of the Department of Cryptography and Network Security, along with 20 other university faculty and students, attended the meeting.
Prof. Dan Keun Sung, head of the program and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), along with Korean team of 20 people, attended the conference. A Japanese team of 22 representatives led by prof. Nei Kato, head of Tohoku University, also presented in the conference.
The conference was divided into 6 venues. The Chinese team presided over the academic report of the 6th venue. The specific report information was as follows:
Zhenfu Cao: “New Trends of Information Security --How to change people’s life style”;
Xiaolei Dong: “Advances of Privacy Preservation in Internet of Things”;
- Jiachen Shen: “Secure Keyword Search Scheme for Cloud Storage”;
- Jun Zhou: “Secure and Privacy Preserving Protocol for Cloud-Based Vehicular DTNs”;
A total of 12 students were recommended as candidates for the Best Presentation Award at the A3 Annual Meeting, and after discussions, eight students were awarded the Best Presentation Award.
