Dr. Cathal Gurrin from Dublin City University, Ireland visited the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering on March 20th to further promote international exchanges and cooperation. Prof. Changbo Wang, prof. Min Zhang, and prof. Junjie Yao attended the meeting.

After Prof. Min Zhang and Dr. Gurrin gave a brief introduction about the basic situation of our School and Dublin City University, the two sides discussed potential collaboration between the two universities, such as faculty and students exchanges and international joint researches. They specifically talked about applying for the 2017 International Natural Science Research Fund funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Irish Science Foundation. During the meeting, Prof. Wang warmly invited professors from DCU to visit Shanghai, organizing bilateral seminars and conducting joint researches with faculty of our School.
