The 4th Cryptography and Security Forward-looking Forum Successfully Held

From November 23 to 25, 2017, sponsored by our School and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the 4th Cryptography and Security Forward-looking Forum co-organized by YOCSEF Guilin was successfully held.

 

The Cryptography and Security Forward-looking Forum, co-sponsored by our school and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held annually to discuss forward-looking academic issues in the latest research and development directions in the field of cryptography and information security. The forum was chaired by Prof. Zhenfu Cao. Many experts, scholars and graduate students from universities and research institutes gathered together at Guilin University of Technology to conduct academic exchanges and technical discussions. In recent years, 18 experts with outstanding achievements have shared their latest research results in the forum.

 

 

The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Xiaohui Cheng of Guilin University of Technology. Professor Cao gave the opening speech at the ceremony. He further emphasized the importance of the secure forward-looking forum, and hoped to generate new ideas and create new trends through various exchanges and free discussions. Researcher Mingsheng Wang also delivered a speech on behalf of the opening ceremony of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

 

A total of 18 reports were arranged on the 24th and 25th, covering all aspects of cryptography and security. Prof. Cao, Lei Zhang and Associate Professor Jun Zhou of our school were invited to make a report at the forum.
