The launching ceremony of the “Morgan Stanley Female Engineers' Professional Mentor” was held at the Morgan Stanley office in Shanghai on November 14th. 4 human resources managers, 9 Women in Technology mentors and 27 teachers and students from the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering of East China Normal University participated in the event.

Wilson Qiu, who works in the Human Resource Department of Morgan Stanley, warmly welcomed School members and gave a brief introduction of the company. Wilson pointed out that this project aimed at providing a platform for communication between the female students and the Women in Technology mentors who had rich work experience in Morgan. The form and content of communication were not limited. He hoped that the students would contact the mentors actively and become close friends.

Helena He, an ECNU alumnus, shared her experience with the project in Morgan. She felt that she benefited a lot from this project, and hoped that students could have their own ideas and take full advantages of the project

After introducing the background of the project, Ruby Li, a Morgan-Stanley HR, announced the pairing between the mentors and the students. In the following discussion, the mentors shared their work experience and answered the questions of students comprehensively.

This project is the first collaboration attempt between Morgan Stanley's professional mentor program and universities, and it laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the company and ECNU.
